Like father, like son: Jaden is the spitting image of his famous father Will Smith as they return to the star's hometown
Will and Jaden Smith showed their support for ending violence in crime ravaged Philadelphia by attending a three-day summit this weekend in the superstar's hometown.
Smith, 43, and his mini-me son, 14, added a little Hollywood star power to Charlie Mack’s 9th Annual Party 4 Peace Celebrity Weekend.
Dressed in a dark suit and striped shirt, Will was warmly welcomed by the crowd back home in Philly where he grew up.
Smith is a regular attendee to the annual event, which is hosted by the Men In Black star’s longtime friend, Charles 'Charlie Mack' Alston.
The rapper-turned-actor returned to the summit for a second day today where he joined the event's host on stage to address the crowd.
The gathering features a dinner honoring outstanding Philadelphia youth, a talented teens competition, and a series of other events to bring the city's young people together in a positive environment.
In 2011, Philadelphia ranked as having the highest homicide rate of the 10 most populous cities in the US, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
That unfortunate distinction has earned the city the moniker 'Kill-adelphia' among local residents.
